Response to Nation of Brats
Robert Shaw makes some very good points in this article, however I don’t agree with all of them. I agree that as a child you will see them throwing tantrums if they don’t get what they want. If one kid has it the others will surely want it to. When they get older they move away from the family activities and are more interested in going to the mall or movies with their friends, (friends;) family seems to always come after friends. They are more involved in their phone, television, or music. I don’t agree however with the points he made about all of these things a result to the parents not being involved in their kid’s life.(I don't agree with the points he made about all of the results to the parents not being involved with their kid's lives.) I know that as a teenager, kids need their space, it’s just a phase that we go through. As for being “media-addicted mall habitués” that’s just a way to get away from school and other responsibilities that we need to be taking care of. I think over all this article was very good (good,) but not too accurate for everyone
I chose one my assignments i had in another class awhile back. I highlighted the mistakes in pink and highlighted my edited corrections. I liked how i noticed how much i've learned from this class. I could automatically saw the changes i needed to make.
